Mandala's Story

Mandala was painted in 2017. During this timeframe, artist, Jolianne Alexander, was working full time as an attorney and moonlighting as a painting instructor. Although the lifestyles of an attorney and an artist are very different, Jolianne has always found her own unique and unapologetic path. 

Mandala is a representation of Jolianne's capacity to live magically in her individuality. Mandala embodies creative freedom and expression. Let Mandala similarly inspire you to be your unadulterated self, to live who you are, and to not let anyone say you can't.
