1. How do I inquire about a commissioned piece?

Please complete the Commission Intake Form to submit your inquiry. Our artist, Jolianne Alexander, will get back to you at the time you indicate is convenient for you in the form to do a telephone consultation.

2. I saw a picture of something I like, and I want you to make my commission piece exactly like the picture. Can you do that?

Pimento Creations encourages you to submit images of your inspiration. All inspiration and your vision will be translated into Pimento Creations' style. However, it will not be an exact replica of the inspiration. Thus, make sure you like Pimento Creations' style before you place an order for a commission.

3. What is the process for ordering a commissioned piece?

First, please complete the intake form. After that, artist, Jolianne Alexander, will conduct a consultation with you. If Jolianne decides to take your order, Pimento Creations will send you an invoice to your email requesting 50% of the payment due up front. Once payment has been received, Jolianne will get to work on your piece. Unless otherwise stated, turn around time is anywhere between three to six weeks, depending on intricacy and volume of the order. Pimento Creations is not presently taking rush orders. During the development process, Pimento Creations will send you periodic updates so you can provide feedback and request modifications. Once your order has been completed, Pimento Creations will send you an invoice for the remaining balance, plus shipping costs.

4. Can my commissioned piece be made into merchandise?

Yes, at an additional charge to cover shipping and manufacturing expenses. Pimento Creations will work with you to discuss more details about this if you have a specific merchandise order request.

5. Can I re-sell my commissioned order, or market it as my own?

Pimento Creations reserves all rights to any commissioned order and does not permit re-sale of the order without express permission of artist, Jolianne Alexander.

6. Why did you reject my order?

Pimento Creations reserves the right to reject any order that either does not fit its aesthetic, requests an image which would result in a conflict of interest for artist, Jolianne Alexander, or for any other reason Jolianne Alexander deems appropriate. Pimento Creations invites you to contact us should you have any questions or concerns.

7. Can I request special materials to be used in my commissioned piece?

Any request for a mixed media Creation or the use of any media not listed in the base price as detailed on the Commission Intake Form will be an up-charge. Total price will be discussed during consultation.

8. I don't like my piece, can I return it and get my money back?

The 50% initial deposit is non-refundable and is meant to compensate Pimento Creations for the work, time, and materials used to develop your Creation. If you do not want your piece after it has been completed, please inform so that Pimento Creations can meet your expectations. If, after attempting to remedy the situation, you are still dissatisfied, you will not be required to pay the remaining 50%.
